Terry Ann (Jarvis) Johnston

Terry Johnston, 62, of Manchester TN, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on April 22, 2024, after a long battle with Cancer.

Terry Johnston was born on February 26, 1962, to Curtis Leo Jarvis and Mary Ann Jarvis in Aurora IL, where she grew up and started a family.

She was a loving wife to Robert Polidoro and devoted mother to her 3 children Heidi, Destiny, and Tiffany.

Terry Johnston had a knack for cooking and baking, her homemade dishes were always the highlight of family gatherings. She was passionate about water and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her pool, at the river tubing, at the lake on the boat or kayaking, or at the beach lying in the sun. She was an avid pool player and found great joy in attending concerts and music festivals.

She was a kind and generous soul, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her welcoming spirit and infectious smile.

Terry Johnston was predeceased by her Father Curtis Leo Jarvis and her mother Mary Ann Jarvis. She is survived by her husband Robert Polidoro, her daughters and son in laws, Heidi Jarvis, Destiny Ballew and Nathan Sweeny, Tiffany Whitfield and Joseph Whitfield, her non biological son David Thompson, her sisters Margret Sparks, Virginia Holmes, and Connie Johnston, her grand children Jacob Gillam, Bailey Gillam, Eli Robinson, Holly Whitfield, Jade Ballew, and Skye Robinson, her nieces and nephews Tina (Holmes) Bowser, Christie (Sparks) Anderson, Tim Holmes, Matt Sparks, Bethany Sparks, Ruth (Holmes) Manier, Amber and Chris Amundson, Ashley Mcpeake, and 17 great nieces and nephews.  

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Manchester Funeral Home. There will be a visitation on April 28th, 2024, beginning at 1:00pm, with services starting at 2 PM at the Manchester Funeral Home 214 E Main St, Manchester, TN 37355. Burial will follow in the Fountain Grove Cemetery in Morrison, TN.

Rest in Peace, dear mother. You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
